Shipping and Pickup Policy

This Shipping and Pickup Policy outlines how orders from Valley Outdoor Supply are processed, shipped, delivered, or made available for pickup. Please review this page carefully before placing an order.

Order Processing

  • Orders are typically processed within 1 business day.
  • Some items require scheduling due to size, weight, or inventory handling.
  • You will be contacted if additional coordination is required before fulfillment.

Local Pickup (Appointment Only)

Most large or heavy materials sold by Valley Outdoor Supply are intended for local pickup by appointment.

  • Pickup location: 2017 N Machias Rd, Lake Stevens, WA 98258
  • All pickups must be scheduled in advance.
  • Customers are responsible for providing a suitable vehicle and securing their own load.
  • Staff are unable to assist with load securing due to liability restrictions.

Pickup-only items include (but are not limited to): metal roofing panels, fencing panels, ridge caps, and oversized building materials.

Local Delivery (Washington State Only)

Local delivery may be available for select orders to Washington State addresses only. Delivery is scheduled and quoted in advance. For complete delivery terms, please review our Delivery Policy.

  • Dispatch location: 2017 N Machias Rd, Lake Stevens, WA 98258
  • Delivery fee basis: quoted using round-trip road mileage (dispatch location to delivery address and back) at $3.00 per mile
  • Prepayment required: delivery fees must be paid in full before dispatch
  • Cancel before dispatch: delivery fee is refundable
  • After dispatch: delivery fee is non-refundable
  • Drop-off only: delivery is curbside or driveway drop-off only
  • Customer unloads: customer is solely responsible for unloading (we do not unload materials)
  • Onsite delays: if unloading is not ready upon arrival, onsite waiting time may be billed at $100 per hour (prorated in 15-minute increments)
  • Weight limit: 1 ton (2,000 lbs) per delivery trip; larger orders may require multiple trips or alternate freight

Delivery availability depends on item size, quantity, access, and scheduling. Local delivery is not guaranteed for all products and may not be available during peak demand periods.

Standard Parcel Shipping (Small Items Only)

Small, shippable items such as fasteners and accessories may be eligible for standard parcel shipping.

  • Carriers may include USPS, UPS, or FedEx, depending on package size and destination.
  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
  • Estimated delivery times typically range from 3 to 7 business days.

Oversized materials are not eligible for standard parcel shipping.

Freight Shipping

Freight shipping for large materials is limited and handled on a case-by-case basis.

  • Freight quotes must be requested prior to order confirmation.
  • Freight costs are often substantial and vary widely by destination.
  • Customer is responsible for offloading freight deliveries.

Order Tracking

  • Tracking information is provided when a parcel shipment is created.
  • Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking details to update.

Shipping Delays and Responsibility

  • Valley Outdoor Supply is not responsible for carrier delays once an order has shipped.
  • Weather, freight congestion, and seasonal demand may impact delivery timing.
  • Damaged or lost shipments must be reported promptly.

Shipping Restrictions

  • No shipping to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
  • No international shipping is offered at this time.
  • Certain products may be restricted from shipping due to size or handling limitations.
